WOW woke up this morning to the bright sun shining in the window. Looked outside to a beautiful day calm and very sunny, BUT damm cold out there.
Got to ride up to Wyoming today to pick up a kayak. Going to take the cycle to do it. Going to combine the two this summer. Going to explore some of the small lakes in Dakota County of which there are many.

With this and since I am posting this shot, can Swiffer or ChoirGuy do this with their trailers??? :BigLaugh:
I took that shot last fall when Chris and Steve were talking about how much bigger their trailers were. Big is not always best. :devil52:

I have to leave for the final performance of Carmen in exactly 8 minutes, but I thought I'd post before I hit the hills today.
After last summer, the summer of cold, I've found I'm much more tolerant of riding in the cold...and having the attitude that "I'm gonna do it" also helps.
I get to park for free at the Ordway if I ride my bike, and only one or two productions per year (usually, I'm only in one if I'm lucky) occur in the spring.
So even though it's been chilly, I've made the point of riding in every day.
Layers, of course, are the best option. Thus far, chaps and jeans have been enough on the bottom, a sweatshirt and my old (but great, but wearing out) Victory bomber jacket on top, and a full-face helmet and Vic riding gloves.
I also have electric gloves (just in case) as well as my rainsuit, which always adds a few degrees in real cold situations.
Last summer, at Sturgis, it was 31 one morning when we woke up in the National Forest.
