I very fun hobby of mine is stoping at hole-in-the-wall bars when I go for rides on my bike.
I just found a new one today:
Murray's in Mondovi, Wi.
Some of my others are:
Curgins in Durrand, Wi - One of my favorites. Go out on the deck and look at the river. I great place to ponder life and such...
John's (I think) in Spring Valley, Wi.
Gas Light in Ellsworth, Wi
(Insert name here) half way between Ellsworth and River falls. (West side of
(Insert name here) in Downsville, Wi (the only bar in town)
(Insert name here) in Welch Village, MN
Mike's Up town bar in Hill City, Mn
Two Sisters Restaurant in Grand Marias, MN
Most of these are on some real fun roads as well. I am sure I will think of some others, but it is a start for now. I really don't have a criteria for this list, other than, the bars can't be all nice, new and such. No "yuppie" bars so to speak, the tougher-kinda run-down looking, the better...
although, the poeple need to be nice as well. :FoodDrink
Anybody else have some favorites?
