Ok, this is going to be hard to get with the little information I have, but here it goes:
When we were at WWVW there was a song played by one of the bands (The first band I believe, but I don't even know that for sure)
The song is similar or could be a rock song; and has a very driving beat. It is also a patriotic song. It may have been written after 9/11, but am unsure.
When played there(it is played everytime I have been there I believe) we all sing a long, as it is a great song. I beleve it was about 8:00 when it was played.
In the melody, I believe there is a verse similar to "come on and sing along...on a Saturday night"
-or-
"come on and party along...on a Saturday night"

The only think I know for sure, is the damn word "Saturday" is in it. I have been wracking my little brain trying to figure out what the song title is.:gunrev: :weed2:
The song has similar tones to that of John Cougar Mellencamp, or Bob Seger.

If you have any ideas, please post the title(s).

I will go out to Amazon.com and listen until I find it.

It may be a long shot, but I 've got a pretty good information pool here.

Please help. If not, I may be in the nut house during the snowy season repeating the word Saturday..Saturday..Saturday..Saturday as I piss myself and walk into the wall repeatedly....

Saturday... Saturday... Saturday... Saturday... Saturday... Saturday...
From Elton John'sw Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting.

Hey John. I don't know the song you're thinking of. Also, I'm not sure what WWVW is, but if it's the Warner's Wicked Wednesday at Renegades, then the two bands who would usually play were The SOBs (the first acoustic group) and then Eagle River Band. I had also seen Chris Hawkey and Power Play there from time-to-time as well.

Maybe you can look up their playlists to narrow down the number of songs you have to go through on Amazon. I think Eagle River does a couple originals, so it might be an original or might just be one of the many, many country songs that I don't know.

I think Sparky is on to it.

Sorry John I just took your words and Googled it and came up with a song title that kind of matched. It was a very old song so I'm sure it was NOT what you were hearing. Sorry to have strung you along as you seem to be needing this out of your head real bad.
