Friday, went out to start my 2000 v92sc. Started, ran for a few minutes, i thought it was warmed up, turned off the fast idle, then it died... Tried to start it again, but sounded like the battery was dead... using the process of elimination, I think I may have a bad starter, does not seem to have enough power to turn the engine over, anyone else have any issues like this? Have only had it since October, have about 560 miles since then,,Had a chip put in and the system remaped on Tuesday at Mies, rode it home, changed the oil, and that was that. the bike has about 13000 miles on it??? Any help would be appreciated..

Check to assure that battery terminals and ground wires are tight.

Had checked all of the connections, at the battery and starter, not until I read the thread that I thought to check the ground,.. Where the ground connects by the frame and the motor there was some corosion... cleaned up... problem solved..... Now just need some warmer weather to get out and put on some real miles...

If all else fails have the battery checked with a load tester, I've seen batteries go bad in an instent. Just my two cents worth.:Vision:
