Afternoon all,

New to the site. I bought my first Victory this past winter and it's time to retire the stock exhaust. The bike is a 2005 Victory Kingpin. My question is this. What do you guys recommend for exhaust. I can get a pretty good deal from a connection of mine on a Stage 1 kit. but i'm looking for the sound more than the performance increase. How do the slip on's sound? does anyone in my area have them i'd love to meet ya and here them in person before i buy them. Thanks for all your help.

Welcome to the TCVR. It's always great to have another Vic on the road.

Pipes for sound?? If you want to hear Vic pipes go to a TCVR event as there will be alot of different pipe/intake/bike combo's. I personally like my Bassini 2into 1.

In my opinion Doug has the best sounding pipes of all on his Vegas. Santa Rosa Clubs I think.
Doug I get to ride on Santa Rosa road about 16 miles it starts about 3 miles from my house. It is kinda like 60 down by Zubrota to Wabasha. only the stripe disappears after a while and it turns into O over in Wisc. fun road but kinda dangerous farm machinery and all.

Don't forget the K&N air filter and vented airbox and the reflash. Or an aftermarket fuel controller and tuning by Lloyd. Lee

I have the Stage 1 box, flash card, and slip ons on my Pin. After you "burn" them out they are a nice sound. However I am eventually going to the drag pipes when I do the Stage 3 cam kit.

Drag pipes will drag down all that horse power.
