Hello all,

Well I figure I might as well intorcduce myself seeing as I LOVE my '05 Victory Vegas and have about 30 minutes to slack off while my boss is in a meeting.

Some of you know me as Kit McCormick's kid... I have been on a couple rides and to some group events.

Other's know me as the Deer Slayer...! Seeing as I slayed a deer with my '04 Vegas ONE YEAR AGO TODAY!!! :notdead:

And then there are the other's that know me as the man who destroyed Brian Payne's motorcycle in less than 4 months...

If you don't know me I am a Minnesota Man born and rasied... Started riding at the age of 15 on a tiny Kawasaki 440... Got me to Domino's Pizza and back so I could make $$$. Then upgraded in 2002 to a Suzuki Intruder, rode that for 4 years to school and back and really racked up the miles...

Now as a college grad :Scholar: I decided more debt is the true american dream, and what better way to owe money to the man :TheFing: then riding 92 cu in of American Power..!

Chances are you will be hearing from me this summer looking for group rides and events or getting some helpful hints on a couple of aftermarket parts...

Well looks like the boss :baby: is back... thanks for reading,

Colin McCormick

Joe... Actually I was told that you might be able to help me out with my Digital Speedometer...

I bought my black beast off eBay from a guy down in FL, little risky with not having looked over the bike in person but huge reward on price! Good news is he had put quite a bit of TLC into the ride... One thing to note is the Victory Digital Speedometer. Now I understand that it is set up for the 6-speed transmission and not the 5. I absolutly love the blacked out look of it but have noticed the speed is off (runs about 5 mph fast), which in turn makes my mileage off, which makes my 0-60 time way cool and my quarter mile even quicker... But not true!! I'm wondering if you would have the owners manual or if you know if I can bring it in to a dealer and have it adjusted...

Some good things to "Gloat" :Hehe: about on my ride thus far:
Black pull back drag bars - SWEET!!!
Front/Rear LED Blinkers - SLEEK!!!
Loud Ass Slash Pipes
Black Billet Headlight
Ness Black Tear Drop Mirrors
Side Mounted license plate
God I love my Vegas...

As far as the UPGRADES that I want to make go, I am going to be putting in my HID light sometime this millenuim and will be looking for Black Rims and Pipes (Shotgun or Slash).... I also am looking into the 4" extendors for the footpegs, I believe that requires a new break line or something like that... Then there is the stock seat that could use a face lift, I am looking at the Mustang or Gunner seat... Then there is all the Victory Swag I need ...

Anyway lots of stuff to keep me in trouble over the next season and into winter...

Cheers! :FoodDrink

You might want to try this guy for the footpeg extensions:

He's in Iowa, and a VMC member, and I've heard nothing but good reviews about him and his work.

Sorry Colin, but not only do I not have the owners manueal for the speedo, I wouldn't know how to set it up for you...

I know Bruce (HammerinZ or Z) has the digital on his 92 cube Vegas. I will ask him th enext time I talk to him about it.
