Not that kind!

Does anyone know of any metal strippers in town?

I want to get some old paint (prob lead based) off of some of the old, obsolete, antique heat registers of my current home before having them powder coated. Powder coaters I can find, metal strippers seem to have disappeared!

Now that you have my full attention...

Have you considered sandblasting?

This place does sandblasting, and they also say they do metal stripping

This is about the only other place I could find.

Here's the Thomas Register page showing several stripping services nationwide.

Hey Greg, long time no hear!
Yeah, I had tried sand/bead blasting. This stuff is on good! I got it back, no charge, with about 1 sq inch of the paint removed.

Rick - thanks! I'll give them a call.

Thumper,
What did you find out I have about 8 radiators I may need to do?
