Do i need to change the air box and filter when i upgrade my exhaust?

No - I don't think you have to.

But, you may want to - more air = more power.

The airbox cover and filter work with the pipes and remap to increase performance. Probably will run rich and mileage will suffer also. Also may have decel popping and poor acceleration. (text book service tech answer). Lee
