I have a rear tire that went flat last night.:Pound: Being that I live close to a HD dealer I went over their to see what they had to repair the tire. They had a tire repair kit for $45.00 it had all the tools to dismount and mount the tire. It also had a plug kit also. So I went to the auto parts store a got a plug kit for $4.00. I plugged the tire and is holding air now. :)

I am wondering if anyone has done this and how did this work. The tire is new this spring. I do not want to buy one to replace it so soon.

Paulie,
I have run a plugged tire before with no issues. Where was the hole?

I plugged a screw-hole in my front tire a couple of years ago, but being a front tire, I wasn't comfortable with running it on the plug for too long, so I replaced it. I guess I'd be a little more comfortable running a plugged rear tire, but not a front tire.

The last plugged tire I had was on the TC, lasted all of 200 miles.

Good Luck.
