Thanks Greg for starting it off. How big a Cresent wrench? 10, 12, 14 inch.

I just try to ride with Sparky. I seen his tool bag you could overhaul a bike with that.:eek3:

I have in my tool roll:

8in crescent wrench
8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14MM wrenches (combi's)
Zip ties
Electrical tape
Rags
Combination Screwdriver
3 through 12MM allen wrenches
Pliers

I am pretty sure that's it, but I am working from memory.

It seems the answers so far are a little different from the question, so I'll answer both.

As far as tools I have needed:

Tire plug kit (with CO2 cartridges)
Allen wrenches
Phillips screwdriver (to change the headlamp -- the one they provider on the battery cover does the trick)

As far as what else I carry:

multi-tool
pocket knife
Sav-ur-ride cluch cable repair kit
the two wrench sizes necessary to install the Sav-ur-ride clutch cable repair kit
Misc spare lamps and fuses
cell phone :)

I've had the starter relay malfunction and the starter would not shut off. You have to remove the battery cover and disconect it fast. Need a philips screw driver. After that tap on the relay a few times and reconnect. You should make the rest of the ride but get it replaced.

I'ld also like to say this is a great idea!

I also carry a head lamp (not head light) instead of a flashlight - works great if you need both hands.
Box end wrenches, 6mm through 15mm.

...and a first aid kit (backpacking style -- small, compressible).

Replacment tail lamps as I have had the misfourtune of having my tail lamp let go on me more than twice. Although after replacing it with a L.E.D. lamp I have not had this problem. also a small container of Wet-One's as all of the road side fix-ups will require clean hands to ride again. O, By the way has anyone mentioned you need saddle bags to carry all these goodies

All of the stuff I listed fits in my little magnetic tank bag.

Things I packed in my off-road days, and those that I actually used on a ride are here.

On my Vic the only "tool" I've ever used is a bunge cord, but I carry a lot more. The bunge cord was put into service as a kickstand spring, and I rode that way for quite a while, shown here...
