as far as the fuel controller and a power commander are concerned they are in essence two different animals. a power commander is a fine tune tool used for VERY specific programming. that being said it requires a dyno to get it dialled in correctly. a fuel programer is a mapping tool. it has preset maps in which you plug in what you have and it has that map, no dyno needed. BUT a power commander is for serious motorwork I.E. if your going to be boring and adding over sized pistons etc. etc. basically if your not try ing to build a 10 second bike, i'd go fuel programmer. hope this helps.- ACE
