Has anybody installed and set up a lloydz fuel management system as compared to a Power Commander, if so are you happy with the system,
and any hints about the install.

Thanks

I have the Lloydz unit it works great. Nice part with a Lloydz unit is plug and play and Lloyd will per set to get you close. Allso you can call Lloyd for tech help and he will answer them. no real hints on install pretty easy to do. The big question is why do you want to install one. If you have a stage 1 you may not need it. If you do cams that is were you may need to installl one if you can not get a good down load for the dealer. Wingnut has a Hammer with cams and that bike runs hard and no fuel controler. that is my 2 cents.

as far as the fuel controller and a power commander are concerned they are in essence two different animals. a power commander is a fine tune tool used for VERY specific programming. that being said it requires a dyno to get it dialled in correctly. a fuel programer is a mapping tool. it has preset maps in which you plug in what you have and it has that map, no dyno needed. BUT a power commander is for serious motorwork I.E. if your going to be boring and adding over sized pistons etc. etc. basically if your not try ing to build a 10 second bike, i'd go fuel programmer. hope this helps.- ACE
